Currently doing a one year NVQ level 2 Hairdressing course at college and due to finish in 4 weeks, looking for some advice really, Have passed all my units pretty much apart from my cutting and its looking bleak, as wasn't very confident with it at first and also finding it hard to get clients in now, as we have to supply our own clients 90% of the time as there are so many students on the course!

If I dont get the cutting certificate but pass the rest of the units, what can i do? As i really want to see it through and do hairdressing!
Asked my tutor if I'd be able to get my cutting certificate by doing an apprentiship in a salon if I don't get it at the end of the course and she said a salon won't touch me now if that happens.

So what are my options? As i know the college wouldn't take me back and I apparently funding is stopping next year anyway.

Thanks for any advice given!!

just knuckle down an get them done. 4 weeks gives your plenty of time to complete them. Just swap your clients with girls if they bring their clients in. Take clients you need that are already booked in an ask students in college to do it. I passed my last 2 assessments the day before i qualified an i took 4 months off. So it is easily achievable just try your hardest. Ask if you can go into extra salons to finish your goal
