Hi all,

My wife is soon to be qualified and is going straight into mobile hairdressing. Are any of  you out there mobile hairdressers who can give any tips for starting out, such as how to attract clients, and the accounts side of it too?

Thanks

the best way to let people no is to get some leaflets made up and go out and put them in the areas that you want to work
once you start to build up some clients its word of mouth that gets you more people

for the accounts its better using a simplex d book they are the easyest way to do your accounts as its so expensive to get an accountant .

also she will need to get liability insurance when she goes out to other houses

I'll just say one thing if you are not experienced do not enter in to mobile hairdressing....clients can be so picky and it will ruin your confidence.

Its a very competitive business so you need to be near on perfect to keep getting word of mouth....i have been a hairdresser for 9 years and only just started doing mobile
