I couldn't find any either, but they definatly do them. I remember using them before when I was at college. There is around 4 or 5 different ones for different hair types. Creative curl and Trust being 2 of them, I think there is one called Innocence as well.

Hi
I have just had a reply back and Redken do not do perm lotions!!!!!!!!!!!
They do colours, shampoo and conditioner, hair products and mens hair products.
So tell your client you are the hairdresser and she is wrong. lol

Hope this helps!!!

I think (but don't quote me) - that Redken provides perms for the American market .

If u want an insider tip - Nexxus haircare - is created by Jheri Redding and his son Stephen J. Redding.  Jheri Redding also co-owns Redken.

Nexus stands for Nature and Earth United with Science - they also make perming and colouring products.

http://www.nexxusproducts.com

We use the haircare range in our salon and although not as widely known - people come from miles away to stock up on them.

Redken makes only three perms currently: Vector Plus (Heat Activated Alkaline Perm), Creative Curl (Alkaline Perm) and Inner Secret (Conditioner 'Activated' Acid Perm) - All three have a formula for 'Fine/Limp' hair that adds a special conditioning step between the processing solution and the neutralizer. Redken used to have several 'Innovative' formulas that they have sadly discontinued - Trust® an 'Amphoteric' perming system that acted like an Alkaline perm on normal and resistant areas of the hair and like an Acid perm on more delicate or damaged areas and used a special blotting paper that showed you if the perm solution was removed by changing color if solution was still in hair. Trend Sets® a long-lasting "Semi-Permanent" wave that lasted for 6 to 8 weeks with a 'Built-In' setting agent. Velocity-5® a fast acting Alkaline wave that gave firm but 'flexable' curls. Frog Fur® (cute name) a special wave for fine fragile hair especially childrens. Day into Night™ Acid perm that gives firm but restylable curls. I have alway loved Redken® products until they were acquired by L'Oreal® Who promptly destroyed the great product lines created by Paula Kent and Jheri Redding (REDding + KENt = REDKEN)
